The Bullitt County Sheriff’s E-911 Center is a 24-hour multi-jurisdictional 911 Telecommunications Center that currently serves over 80,000 citizens along with 6 police agencies, 6 fire departments, countywide EMS, and emergency management.

Serving as the county’s primary 911 Call Center, the Bullitt County Sheriff’s E-911 Center is committed to continue providing those we serve with the most reliable and effective emergency communications services possible in an efficient and expedient manner.  E-911 Center employees are trained Telecommunicators having met the requirements set forth by the Kentucky Department of Criminal Justice Training in Richmond, Kentucky.  All new employees must successfully complete this mandated telecommunications training to remain employed by this agency.  Current employees are required to attend annual in-service training to ensure that their certification remains valid.  In addition to this required training, employees also attend other classes and training to foster professional development in their specific roles and job assignments at the 911 Center.
