The Bullitt County Sheriff’s Office and Mount Washington Police Department recently completed a public safety detail together, separate from our normal patrol operations. There were 8 arrests, seven felonies and 2 misdemeanors, and 23 traffic citations or warnings issued with a focus in school zones and neighborhoods. Additional information was gained on the whereabouts of other individuals with outstanding warrants and drug locations which will be followed up on at later times.
Sheriff Sholar has long stated that criminals have no place in Bullitt County and by partnering closely with our city police agencies, we can increase the safety of Bullitt County.
